During stunts and other activities which can damage a lens, Schneider-Kreuznach Clear filters protect expensive front elements and other filters, while providing the truest image, free of unwanted color shifts. Both the front and rear surfaces of these solid-glass (non-laminated) filters receive hard anti-reflective coating which measurably improves light transmission.

Cinematography demands a great deal of cameras and lenses. It therefore makes sense to protect sensitive front element of the lens against rough conditions. Clear filters fulfill the desire of many cinematographers for pure lens protection without a filter effect. Its only function is to keep dirt, sand or splahses away fromt the front lens.
